In 1931, Architect Walter P. Crabtree, Jr. created a picturesque Tudor Revival manor with distinctive wavy brickwork and interiors featuring oak beams, slate floors, and thick plaster arches. 90 years later, the home was restored, a 1970’s flat-roofed family room was replaced with a gabled wing closely matching the home’s original details, and an undistinguished later kitchen was replaced with one which blends seamlessly with the original rooms. The plaster Tudor arches, antique limestone flooring, and beamed oak ceilings provide continuity throughout the new and renovated spaces.
