CC 48 was built in a heavily populated area in the west of Mexico City, on a 1300 square meter peninsula-like plot surrounded by a sloping street. Construction density has resulted in environmental impact and high demand on services, especially water and drainage. An ambitious program of two houses with shared services and entrances but independent gardens and privacy: A 200 sq meter house for the grandparents and an 800 sq m house for a family of 6.
